*Please be sure that you read the ProBoards Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as well as the conditions set out below. Many of their rules have been simplified here, but please at least skim them to give yourself a feel of what our host site will not tolerate. Thank you.
1) You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age to use Insania. I know that it's hard, guys, but I have to establish this rule no matter how many potential contributing members it turns away. This is a ProBoards rule in itself, so I really van't avoid it. However, I encourage you to keep us in mind and to create your account when you officially enter your teenage years, okay?
2) No using the written work on this site without the author's consent. This is a biggie on a roleplay website. Insania will not tolerate plagiarism of any form and believe us when we say that we have our ways of knowing who transfers what from this website. If you are found guilty of plagiarism, you will be banned from the website permanently and reported to our host site's staff unceremoniously. That being said, if you want to twist someone's dead or completed roleplay a bit to make a new, playable plot, please contact me. I will shoot an email to the original roleplay's owner and give them your proposition as a mediator to hopefully avoid any potential hot water. I will then save the original owner's official message of consent for future reference.
3) The opinions of Insania's users are strictly their own. We here at Insania are not responsible nor always in agreeance with the expressed opinions of our users. Everyone here is subject to their own opinion. If something is said that causes you disturbance, email me at the address below.
4) Bullying, trolling, and spamming will NOT be tolerated. While we believe in general freedom of speech, there is a very specific line set that you won't even think about toeing. We do not allow discrimination toward gender, race, age, religion, or sexuality to be made. You will not toy with members to make them feel bad about themselves. If you are routinely a victim of cyber-bullying, please contact me. And remember; a little self-confidence can go a long way. Tell everyone openly and proudly about yourself. And never let them get you down.
5) We are NOT responsible for the nature of the sites in our Advertise board. Gosh darn it, guys! It's not far to blame us for material that a guest provided a link to! We will try our best to review most if not all of the threads in the forum under questioning. If we miss something, please report the thread in question and don't flip out on us.
6) Users will NOT post objectionable content of any form. Content of this manner includes pornography, racial slurs, threatening posts, suggestive posts directed toward a user, etc. If any such content is found, please report the thread immediately.
7) One account per user. I'll let you guys in on a hint: we see IP addresses. You already know that? Good! If you're having issues with your account, please shoot me an email and we'll work together to recover it. If there are multiple users in your household, just tell me, okay?
8) Threads are sent to the Mausoleum after four weeks of inactivity. Don't panic -- your thread isn't gone! We merely moved it to the Mausoleum section to keep the forums tidy. To reopen a thread, please contact the site staff. And please; don't be afraid to do so. We don't bite (much), and we won't ask any awkward questions (usually).
9) Advertisements are allowed in the Advertise forum ONLY. No-brainer, you say? You'd be surprised... Any other advertisement threads in Insania will be moved or deleted by a Mod, depending on their nature.
10) The "Like" system is to be used responsibly. No sarcastic likes, no asking for likes. You get likes if people like your content. End of story.
11) Sexual content is allowed only in the Smutplay forums. To join your Smutplay group, please contact me and I'll give you rights to the board. That being said, our Smutplay boards are not masturbatory tools. If we find you using the Smutplay boards incorrectly, you will be pursued. Also, adults and teens may only Smutplay with their age-group. Come on, guys; this is a matter of law. Our of-age members are at risk for persecution if they Smutplay with our underage members.
12) Hablo Inglés That is to say, we speak English here. It's really cool if you speak a different language or are from another country, but please use English on this website. If you use another language, please provide a translation or else we'll have a bunch of members opening Google Translate in another tab.
13) Respect the site authorities. You'll often see me joking around, calling myself "Queen Luna" or our members "peasants," but seriously, listen to and take to heart the warnings of Insania's Team. We don't like having to be mean, but harshness is sometimes required in order to maintain the order of a community... or kingdom... Queen Luna's kingdom...
